Doctors today confirm that the best way to control and ultimately get rid of severe infectious diseases is to place infected (or possibly infected) patients in quarantine; that is, to isolate them for some period of time whilst the disease is treated.\u00a0\u00a014 centuries ago, this was not a known medical fact.\u00a0\u00a0Nevertheless, this was one of the many medicinal recommendations that the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) told us about!\u00a0\u00a0He once said: {So if you hear of its spread in a land, don’t approach it, and if a plague should appear in a land where you are present, then don’t leave that land in order to run away from it (i.e. plague).”} .\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Such medical truths are but further signs of the truth of the Prophet\u2019s message, and that he never spoke out of his own accord.<\/p>\n
