Who doesn\u2019t like to achieve The Night of Decree for even one time in his life? Who doesn\u2019t wish to see the lights of this great night that equals a thousand months; it is even greater than a thousand months?<\/p>\n
Allah (SWT) says in his noble Quran: \u201cVerily, We sent it down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)* And what will make you know what The Night of Decree is* The Night of Decree is* The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months* Therein descend the angles and the Ruh (Gabriel) by Allah\u2019s permission with all Decrees* (All that nights), there is peace (and\u00a0\u00a0goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn\u201d<\/span> [Al-Qadr:97].<\/p>\n I pondered this chapter, especially the verse (The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months)<\/span>. A new idea that came to my mind is to picture the rewards that I will gain for doing any righteous deed in this noble night that will equal the same reward that I will obtain for doing the same deed if I kept doing it through out one thousand months.<\/p>\n To get closer to this idea and to imagine together the huge rewards of a degree the mind can almost disbelieve it, we will use the numerical language.<\/p>\n For that reason, I hope from the readers, brothers and sisters, to give us their ideas or anything that might come up in their minds. That is because if the idea didn\u2019t find who would track it, it will vanish and disappear and no one will benefit from it. However, if it comes into sight, a person might offer a simple idea that might be a reason to guide people who went astray from Allah\u2019s way! We will assist any sister or brother that wants to write article and we will encourage them.<\/p>\n Let us go back to our research in doubling the reward in The Night of Al-Qadr. Allah (SWT) put for us a clear equation in which this night is equal to a thousand months, and it is even better than that. Let\u2019s provide a question in this form: in a thousand months, how many nights there are? It is an easy and simple question. If we considered that the month is thirty nights, then we will have thirty thousand nights in a thousand nights. This means:<\/p>\n The Night of Decree= 1000 months=1000 months \u00d7 30 nights= 30,000 nights (even more).<\/p>\n Of course, we used the approximate numbers because any number we obtained for calculating a reward, we must know that the real reward is greater than that. For the reason that Allah (SWT) did not say (equal a thousand nights) but said: \u201cThe Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.\u201d<\/span> Any number you might imagine is less than the real reward that we will find on the judgment day.<\/p>\n Let us calculate together how many rewards a believer obtains in this night if he reads one letter form the Noble Quran. According to the previous equation, each good deed you do during this night is equal to thirty thousand night deed compared to other nights.<\/p>\n One letter= 30000 letter (even more)<\/p>\n That is if you read one letter from the Quran in this night, it is as if you read thirty thousand letters compared to other days.<\/p>\n And since Allah Almighty says: \u201cwhoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof of his credit”<\/span> [Al-Anam: 160], this means that you read three hundred thousands letters?<\/p>\n 30,000 good deed \u00d7 10 the like= 300,000 credits (even more).<\/p>\n And since Allah (SWT) says: \u201cBetter,\u201d<\/span> this means that every letter you read in this night, you will gain a reward because of it that is greater than three hundred thousands letters. And if we know that the amount of Quranic letters is a little more than three hundred thousands letters, this means that\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0you read the whole Quran!<\/p>\n Now, what will happen if you read chapter Al-Ikhlas (Say, He is Allah the One) in this night? This chapter with Bismallah (to say \u201cIn the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the Most Merciful\u201d before reading any Quranic\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0chapter) that comes before it consists of 66 letters. If you read it, it is as if you read the Quran 66 times! Some of who read the Quran might not believe that Allah (SWT) gives such a reward. However, I am convinced that Allah Almighty said regarding this night \u201cThe Night of Decree is better than a thousand months\u201d<\/span> to leave the rewarding door open for our imaginations. And I can guarantee you dear readers that any number you imagine is little compared to what the reward you will actually gain, if you didn\u2019t miss that great night and worshiped Allah (SWT).<\/p>\n How can we reach The Night of Decree?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One of the noble prophet\u2019s loves to his community and show of care about them is that he didn\u2019t specify the night\u2019s occurrence with complete accuracy. Instead, he kept the door open for us to struggle to achieve it and not to neglect the other nights of Ramadan. However, it occurs most probably during the last ten days of this blessed month.<\/p>\n I can give you an easy way to not exclude yourself from obtaining rewards in this great night. When the nineteenth day of Ramadan approaches, start reading anything from the Quran each night no matter how little it was. But don\u2019t let a night passes without reading as much as you can. Even if you just read Al-Fatihah or Al-Ikhlas chapters. However, don\u2019t let the nights pass and forget about it.<\/p>\n You should also read the Quran in these nights while intending, hoping, and seeking from Allah Almighty to give you credit for The Night of Decree. You will obtain the reward if you directed your heart, feelings and emotions to Allah (SWT).<\/p>\n Any deed you would do in that night will be doubled to more than thirty thousands. If you ask Allah, for example, to provide you with sustenance, it is as if you asked Allah thirty thousands time!! If you forgave who mistreated you, it is as if you forgave him thirty thousands time (and even more). Each Rakah you perform in your prayer, it is as if you prayed more than thirty thousands Rakah.<\/p>\n When you give a dirham as a charity at that night, it is as if you gave thirty thousands Dirham, and Allah says: \u201cwhoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof of his credit\u201d<\/span> which means that it is as if you gave a charity of three hundred thousands at once!! If you took care of your kin and visited your close relatives, such as your mother or your sister, or called them, it is as if you took care of your kin thirty thousands time.<\/p>\n \u00a0These are really numbers we can\u2019t imagine.
