Over centuries, plants ferment and turn into black substances, coal and oil, and both are the foundations of modern civilization. The holy Qur\u2019an has described such a fermentation and transformation process; Allah, the Exalted says:<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd Who bringeth out<\/span><\/p>\n

The (green and luscious) pasture,<\/span><\/p>\n

And then doth make it<\/span><\/p>\n

(But) swarthy(ahwa)\u00a0\u00a0stubble (ghuthaan ).\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ala or the Most high: 4-5<\/p>\n

Ghuthaa\u2019 means mixed and cumulative while ahwa means black. This is the best description ever for the transformations that plants undergo to turn into coal and oil. All Glory to Allah.<\/p>\n
