The study showed that listening to the recitation of the holy Qur\u2019an provided that it\u2019s done with humility and meditating the meanings of the verses reduces the secretion of Cortisol, the stress hormone, i.e. listening to the recitation of the holy Qur\u2019an cures the nervous tension.
