In the image, we see a\u00a0700 meter\u00a0high iceberg with a peg extending for\u00a03 kilometers\u00a0below water level.\u00a0\u00a0Iceberg pegs have always been the cause for ship accidents, as sailors never doubt that icebergs could have pegs extending to such depths. A peg may weigh more than 300 million tons.
