The holy verse:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0(<\/strong><\/span>And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to keep on ascending thereto (all the day long), they would surely say (in the evening): “Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled (we have not seen any angel or heaven). Nay, we are people bewitched.)<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>[Surat Al-Hijr, verses: 14, 15].<\/strong><\/p>\n

The explanation of the verse:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

God be he blessed and exalted talks about the ungrateful people and those who deny meeting him. He tells them that if he opens to them a gate in heaven and they ascended in it, they will say that their eyes are closed and this is just a magic and they are bewitched. And in His words:\u00a0(and they were to keep on ascending)<\/span>\u00a0a reference to the method of rising up to the sky which is ascending in a zigzag way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

The scientific fact:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It was newly discovered that when any spacecraft gets out of the earth’s atmosphere and gets free of its gravity, it moves in a sinuous not straight way. And astronomers confirm that there is no straight movement in the universe but all the movements are sinuous.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When one of the astronauts traveled for the first time, he expressed his feelings at that moment and said:” I felt as if I lost my sight or I was bewitched”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As for Allah’s words:\u00a0(And even if We opened to them a gate)<\/span>,\u00a0the gate couldn’t be opened in a vacuum and the Quran confirms that the sky is\u00a0<\/strong>a structure which means that it is composed of parts like adobes, i.e., there is no vacuum in the heaven.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Astronomers say: At the moment of the great explosion, the universe was filled with matter and energy, so the matter, energy, place and time were created, which means that there is no time without place and there is no place without time and there is no place and time without matter and energy, so the energy fills the universe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And what is meant by the ascending way is walking in a sinuous pattern and science has come to confirm that the movement in the universe in a straight line is impossible but it should be in a sinuous way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

The point of inimitability:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The verse contains a reference to the sinuous movement outside the land scope and this fact wasn’t known at the time of the coming down of the Quran, therefore it is considered to be one of the signs of the miracles of Quran in astronomy.<\/strong><\/p>\n
