Jehan Abukharmah is a Muslim American of a Palestinian descent and resides in the State of Alaska, USA since March 2003. Born and raised in the city of Zarqa, Jordan. Married and have a child named Saladin. Recently graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a Biological Sciences degree and has been an active member of the Islamic Community Center of Anchorage, Alaska since moving to Alaska in 2003. Taught Arabic and Tajweed classes to the Muslim sisters at the local Masjid on and off in the last 5 years. Also tutored math and science classes at the University of Alaska and lectured about women’s right in Islam to various classes at the University. Also with her husband, ran a student club called Islamic Student Association.
